'Shadows of Candleholders'

'Shadows of Candleholders'

This is the final piece of the shadow series at Nihei Furukaguten,; I came across these candleholders there.

(If interested, please check my past two posts: 'A Shadow of Red Berries' and 'A Green Shadow')

These candleholders already look old and rusty. So if they had been placed in a basket, I might not have appreciated the beauty of their forms. However, after being hung on the wall, the spikes depicted dignified elegance, and their shadows were complex and attractive beyond just what they were originally made for. I was amazed.
