父がくれた手回し式の古いコーヒーミル。四面が陶器製で、そのうちの一面を扉状に開けて挽いた粉を取り出すことができます。まだ子供でコーヒーが飲めない年齢なのに、ガリガリするのが楽しくてよく手伝わせてもらいました。挽き終わるとスッとハンドルが軽くなるんですよね。あの感じ、楽しかったなぁ。
This is an old hand-cranked coffee mill that I got from my dad. All four sides are made of pottery. One side opens like a door, and you can take out the drawer containing the ground coffee powder.
Even though I was still too young to drink coffee, I enjoyed helping my dad grind the beans with it. The sound of the mill grinding them and the satisfying feeling of knowing that the handle gets suddenly smoother with each turn, really fascinated me.
